| First of all I need to say I'm sorry to Trevor and Jeremy Johnson in advance...
Ok...so I didn't post as soon as I wanted to. :) (Sheepish grin) A lot has happened since the apples thing...a LOT. Most recently...Great Lakes. Three words...really fun AGAIN! I didn't get many pictures but I have two I would like to share...first...
...Trevor!!!! This is what he looks like normally.

And not to be outdone...Jeremy!!!! He also looks this way normally.
Seriously though...I had a lot of fun...especially with you guys Trevor and Jeremy!
I'll try to post more stuff later...right now I'm going to watch the end of the Super Bowl!

| The title comes from the fact that seven of the top ten College football teams were upset today. Thankfully, our Wisconsin Badgers were not one of the upset big shots. Anyway, today, besides football, we did our apples. Apple sauce and apple butter. mmmmmm. Good stuff. Good smells. David, Tim and I picked all the apples off of our three fruit barring trees this morning.
We have some tall apple trees. Can't miss the ones on the top!

Funny thing about these two "picking" pictures was that the trees were already picked clean. Those apples are plants.
I never really put David on my shoulders to pick apple. Just to take pictures. :)
Kind of self explanatory. A pile of apples.
Tim and I...the happy/tired/slightlydisturbed/sickofapples/happyagain apple cutters.
Some, only SOME of the many apples that were chopped to pieces with our relentless efficiency. (HA! "Relentless efficiency" We wish)
Apples, apples, apples, apples, apples, apples, apples, apples, apples, apples, apples...I see them in my dreams.
Ah...but the finished project makes it all worth it. APPLESAUCE!!!
The beautiful mother who worked long in the the night to turn those crudely cut apples into...APPLEBUTTER!!!! Oh yeah.

So, all for this Saturday. God Bless | | |
| Well, it's been a long time since I have used this thing. I almost forgot my password. :) So, in that long time life has been good. Good and busy. Umm....let me quick check what I was doing last time I posted.......Right. Still working on the bathroom and bridge and stuff. Well, Tim and I went up to the UP. That is the Upper Peninsula. IBLP has a conference center (NWCC) and we went up to help out for two weeks. Of course we had so much fun that we extended that two weeks another week and a half. We did stuff like roofing, remolding, painting, kitchen work, burning garbage, building additions, and room cleaning....LOTS of room cleaning. Anyway, twas fun.
When we got home we started cleaning right away because a missionary family was coming to our house the next day. So, they stayed a weekend. That was fun too. :) Joel came home a few days later and then Nate married Andrea on Saturday. It was a wonderful wedding. One thing I would like to mention is that after the Missionary family left our house I came down sick. Straaaaange. This I was bummed about that because I really, really, REALLY didn't want to be sick for Nate's wedding. Unfortunately, my symptoms (runny nose, sore throat, slight cough, and sinus headache) were at their worst Friday night, the night before Nate's wedding. Thankfully, on Saturday morning, I awoke to find that God had answered my fervent prayer that I would not be sick for the wedding day. Saturday I had not one symptom all day. Even though my symptoms returned the next day, I was nonetheless grateful to the Lord for his healing power. Very cool.
Then, a couple of days after we got home from the "wedding weekend", six people who worked with Joel and Zack in Taiwan came to our house for a few days. That was a great blessing, getting to know some of the people who have worked with my brothers and been a big part of their lives. We had fun just hanging out, playing in the rain, or just sitting around talking. I really enjoyed meeting Sandy, the guys old boss. She is very special. It was also nice meeting Mai, Kristen, and Daniel from the guys team and Megan from the Kinmen team.
Yesterday, Joel went to school. Monday Zack leaves for Taiwan. We also start school Monday. Lots of fun. Lots of emotions. Hmmmmm......... I can't wait for Christmas break. :)
